Three months passed since we introduced the new awards: the Hourly and Monthly Top. We are glad to see that many of you like this competition and the members support you to get more points and better positions. We received several feedback both from you and members, moreover we also decided to make some adjustments in the competition. The following changes will come into effect from 1st of October (Central-European time):

• A model has to generate at least 5 usd income in the 4-Hour segment to get into the Hourly Top. This new rule is valid for each 4-Hour segment. The income can be made either/or from private shows (both standard and 1on1), spy sessions or online tips (offline tips do not count). Let’s say, you have been online in free chat for an hour in the 4-Hour segment. You collected the min. 5 USD income after the first hour and you get into the competition. You will receive the relevant contest points for your income as well as the points for online free chat time that you have spent from the beginning of the 4-Hour segment.
• There will be only one winner in each Hourly top segment and the prize will be $25
• There will be 7 ranks in the Hourly Top and 11 in the Monthly

ePayments and Webmoney are back

We are glad to let you know that ePayments and Webmoney are back as a payment method for individual models and studios. If you would like to chance to either ePayments or Webmoney, you can do it in your account at menu ’Settings / Account and Payment settings’ at the bottom of the page. Note that you can change your payment method 11-15 of each month and 27-till the end of the month.

Hourly Top Awards and Member referral

So far, you could receive extra points for referring members and you received 20 points if a guest signed up using your individual member referral link. The member did not have to purchase tokens (only confirming his email address) in order to receive the points. Unfortunately, some members (probably together with the model) tried to trick the system and the same member created multiple accounts to help some models get more points. Due to the repeated abuse, from now on, models can receive Awards points for referring members only in case the member purchases any token packages. The member has to be new on the site and need to confirm his email address also. In the same time, we increased the points and instead of 20 points, you will get 50 points in the Hourly Top Awards if the referred member purchased his very first token package.

Thank you for everyone taking part in our new competition: the Hourly Top and Monthly Top Awards! We have received a lot of positive feedback as well as ideas and suggestions from you.

Based on your suggestion, you can collect additional points by the followings on the top of earnings and online time. This update will take effect from the next 4-Hour session starting at 4 PM (CET) 29 Aug.

Votes after private shows

Member votes after private sessions will count in the Awards. To vote for a model, members need to spend at least 5 minutes in private continuously (without interruption). Once the member goes to private session, a VOTE button will appear on the top of your camera stream where they can rate the show from 1 to 5 where 5 is the highest. When the 5 minutes have passed, the button will become active for the member and they can vote. If the member forgets to vote during the private session, they can do it later too in the Vote for a show menu in the menu bar. Note: one member can vote maximum 10 times per 24 hours. 1 vote results in 0,5 points, which means that if a member rates your show 5 for example, it will mean 0,5 x 5 = 2,5 points for you. Note: VIP members' rate count as double! So, if for example a VIP member rates your show 5, it will mean 2 x (0,5 x 5) = 5 points for you.

Guests converting from your room

Guests have the option to sign up from your room by your individual referral URL. We have put a special text in your chat room encouraging them to sign up and the signup link will contain your individual member referral URL. You will receive 20 points after each guest signing up from your room. They do not need to purchase credits in order to receive the contest points after them. Note: only members who have never had any accounts before on the site (even not a basic account) will count. You can also encourage guests in your room to sign up and you also can put your individual member referral link to your profile, personal website, social media platforms. One member signup will result in 20 Awards points for you in the Hourly Top competition.

Followers

Members can follow you by clicking on the ‘Follow’ icon on your profile. Both basic members (without purchase) and standard, VIP members can follow you. You can receive 10 Awards points if a Member with at least one purchase will start following you (basic member followers do not count). Note: a member already following you, unfollowing and following again, will not count.

Models requesting to opt out of the Monthly contest

Rarely but happens that a performer asks to be opted out of the Monthly Awards for whatever reasons. From now on, if a model decides so, she will be removed from the Hourly Top Awards also. Moreover, once a model has opted out of the current Monthly Top (and Houry Top), she will not be eligible to re-enter until the next month.

We truly hope that all these updates will make the Hourly top and Monthly Top more exciting.

Upload your hottest and most erotic photos to SoulCams and let members vote for them! Every vote costs tokens so whenever a member casts a vote on your photo, you earn tokens!

The contest starts on 24 August, but you will be able to upload photos already on 22 August. Make sure to upload photos of yourself and only yourself. You must also own the rights for the photos you upload. Using photos of someone else will get you banned from the contest. Each photo you upload will be approved by our staff. Bad quality photos and duplicates will be deleted. The contest runs for 4 weeks and will end on 22 September. You can upload photos by logging in to the Performer Area and navigating to 'Settings / My images / Contests / Lust for Life'.

Basic rules:

• Only registered person can appear on the photos
• Do not upload the same photos that you already have on your profile page
• Do not upload duplicates
• Do not upload photos of someone else
• Upload high quality, good photos, that are interesting for the members
• You can upload softcore, nude or explicit photos
• The face does not have to be visible (you can use a mask or sunglasses)
• You can modify the photos slightly with Photoshop or decorate it but the main subject (You) should still be the focus of the image
• No watermarks of other websites allowed on the photo

Our staff will hand pick 5 models with the best photos and these models will win the Editors' Choice Award with cash prizes!

Important: about the new token-based pricing

Dear Partners,

We see that there is a great confusion about the new token-based pricing. Members also complained, that they think that the website prices have gone up. The main difference is, that whatever price you set for private minutes, it will be your earnings.

For example, if you set your price to 50 tokens, you will earn 2.5 USD per minute. This also means, that if your previous price was 2.49 credits, 50 tokens is double so expensive for members, as before. When selecting your private show price in the Performer Area, you will always see how much you earn for a minutes in the drop-down menu. Generally, we can say, that your old price multiplied by 10 should be the recommended new price.

Example:

Models have total freedom selecting the prices, but please consider, that if you do not charge the right amount, members will be disappointed and might just leave the website.

INTRODUCING TOKENS AND CHARGEBACK PROTECTION

In our previous email, we wrote about the new Token system we are about to introduce to SoulCams. This is a big step for the website and we strongly believe, it will bring a lot of positive changes.

So far models' earnings have been calculated as a certain percentage. Standard members with 50% and referred members with an extra 20%. The biggest change is that tokens have a fixed value of $0.05 / token. Members can purchase tokens in pre-defined packages, just like they did with credits. The bigger the package they buy, the higher the token amount will be (including bonus tokens). VIP members will get even more tokens on every purchase. You can find a detailed description on the new token packages on our WIKI page

Member referral in it's current form is going to retire and will be replaced by the token bonuses. However, with our new incentives, the 4-hours contest and the monthly contest, we are giving away more than $10.000 every month to Models. On top of that, we will continue making contests and special promotions for members, where they can get extra tokens. At the same time, we teamed up with major traffic providers to get more viewers and members to the website. Models will also have more options to set the prices for private shows: 15 - 100 tokens / minute for standard shows and 20 - 200 tokens / minute for 1on1 shows. Prices for virtual gifts will be adjusted and members will find a better pricing scheme.

By popular request, we are launching our chargeback protection program from 1 August. All models are automatically protected, you do not have to apply. You can find a detailed description on the chargeback protection on our WIKI page

The new Token-based system will take effect on 6 August 2019. This will be one of our biggest update since our launch, with bug fixes, system-wide updates and new features. We are aiming for a smooth process and expect no outage. If you experience issues or the site would not load, please be patient.

We reserve the right to disqualify models from contests and promotions if the performance or quality of the stream is not up to our standards. We consider these events and incidents as damaging to the website's reputation and will not tolerate them. These include, but not limited to the following:

• Broadcasting low quality, bad stream (low FPS, low resolution, low light conditions, artifacts, etc.)
• Empty chat room (model is not appearing on cam)
• Appearance not appropriate: model should look authentic and attractive
  • Dirty or messy clothing
  • Lack of overall hygiene
  • Lack of mental and/or physical fitness (sleep deprivation, looking tired or exhausted)
  • Being online too long without break/sleep
  • sleeping in front of the cam or 'passing out'
• Broadcasting pre-recorded video instead of live stream
• Constant stream showing total zoom on one specific body part, clothing item or room equipment/furniture
• Still stream (one frame showing only as still image)
• Using stolen identity / fake IDs to register a model account
• Forcing or soliciting members to vote, tip, start a private session, etc.
• Mocking, harassing other models or users of SoulCams
• Promotion of your profile and/or services through spamming (including email, comments, chat, board and so on)
• involvement in fraud

In certain cases, we will notify and warn the model before suspension but in some cases we will suspend the account for a given time or even close the account immediately.

Virtual gift collection

Many of you asked, here it is! From now on, you and visitors also can see the list of virtual gifts you have received from members so far and how many times. The gift collection is visible on your profile page at ’My gifts’ tab where visitors can check them out and they also appear in your performer account at menu ’My network’ / ’My gifts’. All the new virtual gifts you will receive will be updated real-time in this list. Happy collecting!

The summer vibes are here and we are announcing another fresh contest with a staggering cash prize of $10.000! The winner of the contest will take mind-blowing first prize of $5.000! Our newest photo contest is about cosplay, costumes and uniforms! Upload your best photos wearing your favorite outfit, but make sure they comply with our rules:

• You must have the ownership / right of these photos

WEBMONEY IS AVAILABLE ON SOULCAMS AS A PAYMENT METHOD

Standalone models and studios can request their payout through WebMoney from today. WebMoney issues PaySpark card, PaySpark China UnionPay card and MyChoice VISA prepaid cards for those with WME (EUR) purse. If you want to use WebMoney to receive money from us, you need to have a WebMoney account and and a purse in EUR (WME purse ID).
